These projects are all finished representations of our architecturally approved drawings from City and State. The new windows are made to match the original, with options for old glass set in new insulated glass, new parts, and new frame choices including solid mahogany. These are always hand-painted and hand-puttied.
Our finished examples of partial replacement. Where the original frame, casing, or panel work is still sound, it stays. Where it has failed, we mill new custom wood parts to the original profile and fit them to the existing opening. New glass and new hardware can be added, and all new wood is hand-painted and hand-puttied to match.
These projects are all finished representations of selective repair, not full replacement. We keep what the building still has, replace only what is gone, and mill the new parts to match the old profile by hand. Sash are re-glazed, original hardware is made to work again, and every new piece is hand-painted and hand-puttied to match.
